FAQs

1. How do you dispose the toothbrush?

Made 100% of bamboo, the toothbrush handle can be composted either at home or through your garden waste bin.

Whilst the bristles are made with 100% castor oil, it unfortunately cannot be composted the same way. Therefore, we recommend separately disposing off the castor oil bristles into the residual waste bin.

Our goal is to make our bristles compostable one day, which we are working hard to achieve.

2. How do I clean and take care of my bamboo toothbrush?

Like conventional toothbrushes, the bristles of your bamboo toothbrush can be cleaned by throughly rinsing and washing it with water. Use a hand towel or any small towel to dry your bamboo toothbrush after washing.

As bamboo is a natural material, it's best to keep your bamboo toothbrush in a dry cup or holder and stay in an upright position.

If you have multiple toothbrushes in one cup or holder, then make sure that they are separate from each other to allow for proper drying.

3. How long does the toothbrush last?

Our bamboo toothbrushes are designed to last as long as a conventional plastic toothbrush. However, it is advised by dentists to change your toothbrush every 3 months or when the bristles starts wearing, whichever is first.

4. Where do you find the seeds?

To uncover the seeds, simply peel off the sticker, "Seed Toothbrush" located at the bottom of the toothbrush.

5. How long does it take for the seeds to sprout?

It takes approximately 90 days from seeding to maturity.
